BRING SOME GET SOME

We're still in the planning stages, but we thought we'd let you in at the outset. We're planning some new performances under the banner headline BRING SOME, GET SOME. This means that if you bring something that sounds great when you hit it or blow down it (as long as it's NOT a "real" instrument!) you can participate in our performance.

"HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?" we hear you say. Well, the evening will follow the usual format of a USL gig - that is we'll play a few tunes. Then it changes. We'll invite some of you to join us on stage and "help us out". Then we'll open things out to the audience so you can join in with what you've brought along or with some stuff that we provide. All the time you'll be following our "direction" so you can't just put your head down and play --- you'll be part of our band so need to be listening and watching all the time. But at the same time you'll be having a damn fine time, and get to feel like a rock star too!

We're aiming to launch this project in November at St Luke's, so watch this space, but more importantly start sourcing your musical materials now!
