USL unsuccessful in securing future Arts Council support

USL are really sad to announce that we were unsuccessful in our bid to become a National Portfolio Organisation of Arts Council England from April 2012 onwards.

In a climate of reducing budgets and increasing competition it is a tough blow, but we are pleased for those organisations both locally and further afield who achieved funding.

We would also like to add our thanks to Arts Council for their support of USL over many years. We're not bitter - we understand their position - and we'll keep up the good work in one way shape or form.
