USL win prestigious tender

Here at USL we've always known we're pretty good at working in the community, but most of our work has come through the usual channels (personal contacts, direct mailings, word of mouth etc). So recently, when we submitted a tender bid to supply a large amount of work to Blackburn With Darwn Council we didn't really think much would come of it.

So when they phoned and said we'd scored 99 out of 100 when our tender bid had been assessed, and are we still interested in supplying the work you could have knocked us off our (reclaimed from a skip) office chairs.

YES we said. And so we will. We're still waiting for all the dates and details to be supplied. But we're really looking forward to it.
